This event idea is a draft version at the moment. It might take me a while to actually implement it because I am currently working full-time to earn start-up cash for the development of my new game and Terra. So don't ask when it will be ready.

The Reet Domination Guild Event

This event will go on permanently. Members of guilds will be able to participate in it.

Around the city of Reet there will be 4 gate strongholds. When passing these gates people will have to pay a certain fee. This fee will be placed in the bank of the guild that is currently in control of that particular gate.

To capture a gate, the guilds in the game must capture pre-determined spawn points labeled by flags. Depending on the amount of team members in the capture radius of a flag (the screen), the capture timer will charge faster, thereby shortening the time of capture.

While capturing, it is possible for the enemy to pause or slow down the capture. A 1:1 ratio of enemies and friendlies in the area will cause the capture to pause otherwise the capture will slowly go to the team with more friendlies in the area.

The speed or direction of capture will not change until members leave the area or are killed. Once the gates are captured, a player can then choose to spawn at the gate's location, at any of the invisible pre-determined spawn points within its general area.

I don't know if a fee is a good idea especially for new people maybe a fee based on a players totol score say something like 1/10 or 1/20 of the score they will have to pay for in gold to enter.

Only way I can see to make this more fair would be to have players with lower scre capture faster. Say two players are on the same screen capturing a flag. Player A has 500 score and player B has 1000. If only those 2 players were on the screen and the flag cap started at 0 and say counted to 1000 player A would cap the flag first at a rate of 1/2 speed wise, and B would then need to kill a to move the cap points in his favor. If there were 2 player B after A had capped then the points would starting the count up for player B at a rate of 1/4 until player A is killed then it would go up at 2x the normal rate.

I hope ýou can understand that. And I'm basing that on a players individual score. In this method the more lower score people you had the faster you could cap a flag.

Not bad at all honestly, sounds really fun. I was thinking more of a castle warfare type of game. Guilds are given castles with npc's in them and the other guild have to push their way through and get to the certain end and hold the area for a few mins or so and the castle becomes theres.. making them ruler of Terra for the time being.

Let's say you need to win 2 out of 3 events to go to this castle siege. This would be the best way to determine who gets a chance to take over the castle. Whoever owns the castle can add certain npc's with their own guild gold (the npc's have to be REALLY hard to take down.. like bosses). If the guild makes it to the end and holds the area(mass amount of hard but not too hard npc's should come out during this moment or you should let the castle owners come out and fight this thing out to stop them from taking the castle) They become ruler of Terra for the time being.

Maybe a lower fee depending on your score? otherwise this would keep me on the game in the majority of my spare time..

That and will it be possible to increase guild pk score outside of the flag area?
