I've made an update to the scripts and respawned all eggs.
Eggs can't spawn in water anymore and they can't spawn under trees either.

Good luck everyone!

Tom, why do you keep doing events for Christian holidays, and no other denominational groups? Also, can eggs appear on any map?

Cause Easter is celebrated practically everywhere, like I turn on the tv and there's an ad for easter eggs. It's just an event, there is no big meaning behind it because it's just a game.

Meh, the ads are just corporations trying to suck all the money they can get out of holidays. Charlie Brown Christmas special made a good comment against this.

Because, similar to Christmas, this particular holiday has lost it's true meaning and has become nothing more than a money pit for parents and a cash cow for businesses. No longer is it about Jesus but about a dumb ass rabbit breaking into your homes and leaving your kids easter baskets and hunting for colorful boiled eggs.(or plastic if you like hiding money prizes. ;p)

In other words, it's no longer seen as a religious holiday(though christians and whatnot still celebrate it as such) but more of a way to excuse your excessive consumption of chocolate and eggs and basicaly get together with your family for a little fun.

On a side note: What other holidays fall on Easter Sunday? None that I'm aware of. And about christmas...yeah...You try editing a map to make it reflect not only christmas, but hanakah(sp?) and kwanza and god knows how many other christmas time holidays. ;p

There might also be the part that Bush is Christian and is promoting Christian ideas in U.S. schools, such as Intelligent Design. What someone needs to do is promote a holiday/event of another religion. Terra probably isn't influential enough yet, but in a year or two if things go well, Terra could make a difference with this Christian based thought in the U.S.

I propose a new topic in the Off-Topic General forum section. A volunteer is needed to write a title and introduction to the proposed topic. The topic would be about holidays, commercialism, and Christian domicance in the U.S. After the creation of the proposed topic, the current topic could return to it's original purpose: announcement and discussion of the Easter egg hunt update.
